Beschreibung

The proseminar covers topics from the intersection of Computer Science and Music. We will look at some obvious topics like codecs for music or digital rights managment. However, the seminar allows also for some more, let's say, intricate topics, ranging from artificial intelligence to the more artistic corner of combining sound and visual effects via a computer.

Material

In this seminar, your first task is to find suitable material for your choosen topic. As the topics are quite popular, you should't have any problems to finde enough interesting material on the internet. More on that in the 'Vorbesprechung'.

Presentation

Your presentation should be about 30 - 40 minutes. The presentation language is either German or English. You might want to check out these suggestions for your presentation. Talk to your advisor at least 3 weeks before your scheduled talk and show him your presentation.
